On Saturday 30th June 2018, a group of brave Line dancers will release their inner Daredevil and take on Europes longest Zipline 'Velocity' and you can join in all for the LDF.

The LDF is delighted to launch their first ever extreme challenge fundraising event on Saturday 30th June 2018 at Zipworld, Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda, Snowdonia, North Wales.
Participants will take part in two exciting challenges on the day
Based on the traditional toboggan (but runs on rails), you will travel through the beautiful forests at speeds of up to 25mph.
The worlds fastest and Europe’s longest Zipline.
This challenge will take you first on the ‘Little Zipper’ to help build your confidence before you take on the big one VELOCITY 2 where you will fly through the sky reaching exhilarating speeds of up to 100/125mph.
Each participant will be asked to raise a minimum of £250. This covers your costs for the day plus a contribution to the LDF.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue. All participants will be asked to sign a disclaimer form for both the LDF and Zipworld on the day.
ZipWorld Terms and Conditions
The maximum permitted weight for an individual on Velocity is 120kg (18.8 stone).
Adventures may occasionally be compromised by adverse weather conditions. In such circumstances, Zip World may amend weight restrictions, delay adventures or postpone altogether. Zip World shall endeavour to notify customers of such changes in advance although at times operations may be compromised without prior notice. The Customer may re-schedule the booking within 12 months of the date of the activity booked or change to another of Zip World's adventures to the same value.
We strongly advise you to wear warm and waterproof clothing. On warm summer days please still bear in mind the zip lines are in a mountainous environment where temperatures are significantly lower than elsewhere, shoulders must be covered i.e. no strappy vests, shorts are permitted but must be knee length.
Long hair should be tied back, all jewellery, scarves and headscarves to be removed and skirts are not recommended.
For your feet; training shoes or walking boots are recommended. Open toe shoes, flip flops, sandals, wellies or similar footwear is not permitted. Zip World reserves the right to refuse admittance should appropriate clothing not be worn.
NB: Please note that this event is weather dependant. In the unlikely event where weather conditions are particularly
inclement Zipworld have the complete discretion to postpone an event for safety concerns. A later date wiil be organised in the event of this happening.
