Thank you Nunik and all your lovely dancers from Universal Line Dance (DKI) in Jakarta, friends and family for being so generous.
In August 2018 Marlene Brummond and her Silver Liners Dance Association donated £895.58. The Silver Liners danced for pleasure and to promote healthy living through dance. Sadly the group had to disband recently so they shared their funds between their local Meals on Wheels service, a Senior Citizens Centre and the Line Dance Foundation.
Thank you to Rosie Multari for carrying her LDF bag to an event when Marlene spotted it and asked what the LDF was all about.
Rebecca Lee and her team - Philip Sobrielo, David Hoyn and Guilliame Richard rasied RM3K for the Foundation during Rebecca's party on the 24th November 2018 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
Rafel and Arianda Corbi Viella and their dancers at the Costa Brava Line Dance Festiva in 2017. Proudly wearing their beautiful hand-made blue LDF hearts and dancing "Don't Go" while raising money for the LDF.
As John Grrowler Rowell said "LDF need's more people like you around the world" Thank you for all you do to support the LDF.
The Zip It Team raised over £8,000 for the Foundation by daring to take part in the first LDF Extreme Challange.
It was an exciting and memorable day at Zip World in North Wales where the dancers zipped along the fastest Zip Wire in the World and rode the Fforest Coaster Ride.
Thanks to Helen O'Malley for organising the event and all those who took the challenge - the day was a huge success. Thanks also to everyone who took part and all their freinds and family who kindly sponsored them.
We're all looking forward to next challene in 2019.
LOOSE CHANCE COLLECTION: Collecting loose change from your classes each November is a great way to help the LDF raise money.
Just place collection boxes in handy places and encourage everyone to donate their loose change during the month. It soon mounts up.
Shout about it at your events, clubs and classes, workplaces and at home too.
Every November please ask all your family and friends to empty their pockets and purses of loose change and donate it to the LDF.
