The LDF could not function without the support of its network of International Ambassadors. Here we are proud to introduce them to you and to share their details if you ever need to contact one of them.
They will do their best to answer any questions you have regarding the Foundation, what it does, who it helps abd how.
Your Ambassors are all membes of the dance community they are NOT qualified medical professionals or councellors and cannot offer you help in those capacities.
However they will be happy to assist in any way they can. Do not be afraid to Reach Out to them.
Ambassadors should have been involved in line dance for at least three years in a professional or semi-professional capacity.
Ambassadors must have a reputation for personal and professional integrity, be honest, reliable and regarded with respect by the dance community.
Anyone wishing to become an Ambassador will :-
Need to be proposed by a member of the dance community.
Be Seconded by an Ambassador.
Be totally discrete and respectful should any confidences are shared with them.
Will not discuss details of nominees or disclose any information about them
The roles of a LDF Ambassador is to represent the Foundation in a professional and responsible way.
Ambassadors main duty is sharing information about the Foundation and the work it does whenever possible.
Ambassadors would be a first point of contact to answer any questions or provide information to help dancers who enquire about making nomination or donations.
Ambassadors are NOT expected to raised funds or hold events, naturally this would be welcome but it not a requirement.
Ambassadors would, without being intrusive, be alert to and concerned about the well-being of other members of the dance community.
Ambassadors will notify the Trustees of any concerns regarding individuals facing difficulties who may need LDF support.
Ambassadors should become familiar with the Articles of Association under the terms of the Companies Act 2006 as published .
